At Marble & Granite Supply of Illinois Inc. (MGSI) we are proud of our customer service, which sets us apart from others in the stone industry. The success of our business and the satisfaction of our customers are largely, due to our clearly defined business policies. We give below our stated policies and other details regarding the various services and support that we provide our customers.

MATERIAL HOLDING POLICY

We will hold slab material, with specified fabricator for 30 calendar days. This refers to all slab stock, but high end/high demand materials, which we will hold only for 15 days. Your salesperson will advise of these items and sales order will reflect that. If material is not purchased by the hold expiration date, it will be returned to the active stock and sold to other customers. If your project does not start within 30 days of your selection, you may purchase the material and MGSI will store it for you at minimal storage fee. We reserve the right to request your commitment to the material reserved, prior to the 30 days expiration date. The holding period for products in short supply may be changed to fit current company needs.

We will hold material for 7 days only, if no fabricator is specified. It is the responsibility of the customer to contact us within 7 days and provide us with the name of a fabricator for the project. If no fabricator is specified by the end of the 7th day, we will proceed to sell the material to other customers.

We will hold tile orders for 15 days only.

SPECIAL ORDERS

We require full payment for custom orders. Payment must be received prior to placing the order. Special order items are not returnable. They were custom-ordered for a specific customer/project and not subject to our usual return policy, which is valid for stock items only.
